In my opinion these are still the easiest boots to use and you can get a very good custom fit due to the ability of the material to mould to the hoof. These are the boots I recommend and use myself.
They are most suited to gravel tracks, road work and stony terrain, though cope perfectly well in mud and softer surfaces too.
