Before looking at the case studies listed on the left please firmiliarise yourselves with the images below. Although they are obviously from an "ex" horse and the heels bulbs have shrunk the hoof capsule it's self and the wear pattern is still in full "working" order.

Interesting observations:

• Highly polished and totally smooth sole and in particulary the bars.
• The placing of the heels and their almost underslung confirmation.
• The charactoristic mustang role and how it also includes the heels.
• The tough leathery frog and heel bulbs.
• The horse is almost walking on it's heel bulbs but was totally sound. How?
