AANHCP Natural Hoof and Horse Care Services for the South East of England
Clint has recieved several types of remedial shoeing for his navicular condition. However nothing provided long term relief.
In March Clint had had enough and ripped his own shoes off along with a large chunk of hoof wall, much to his owners dismay! This left them with nothing to nail a shoe too and so by default (or design) Clint started his barefoot journey showing signs of comfort within days.

I was contacted shortly afterwards, around mid may and have been trimming him now for 4 months. I am glad to say that he now shows up sound on a trot-up test on hard ground, is comfortable being lead over gravel and is even being lightly ridden in the school a couple of times a week.

So far so good!

Here is a photo diary of his near fore which had the most damage

Here is is full photo diary. Unfortunately not yet in date order!
